The Country Coordination

Country coordinates comprise fifteen (15) registered coalition members of the same country, with their Regional Executive Vice-Chair endorsed in close cooperation with the Secretariat. Each country will engage in a substantive dialogue on social development issues discussed during the Coalition General Assembly and produce a country statement or key message following the meeting.

The compilation of all statements and recommendations is made available before the start of the GA session as an Information document.

Role & Complementarity

While country coordination constitutes the leading platform for the Coalition to engage with stakeholders and grassroots communities in the country, it may be complemented by additional meetings, project implementation, workshops, and consultations — either self-organized by the Secretariat or facilitated by Country Coordination.

Country Coordinators serve as the vital link between global policy deliberation and local community realities, ensuring no voice is left behind in shaping the Coalition's positions at the UN.
